Quotes from Parents and Participants from our Events

Megan (and Bob and I) want to extend our thanks to you and Kat for organizing the Alaska Gets Discovered weekend. It was a wonderful event…informative, challenging, motivating, and supportive! (Megan particularly appreciated her time with Kat and Alex.) The sectionals and panel were excellent, and the talent showcase was very enjoyable.

Hi I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you! I had an awesome time at the work shop! Even though I didn’t win, I still value above all the information I received, as well as the humbling realization, that talent alone, cannot and will not cut it! I am a serious artist, and if you could relay this message for me, to Mr. Alex. I am a willing and ready to conform to the image, take constructive criticism.......WHAT EVER it will take to get in! This thing called music is my every thing! That being said I wanted to say once again thank you!

I think it is amazing what you are trying to do up here and thank you again! I would love to hear more information about possible training sessions. Alex rocks!

I really like his straight forwardness, and he doesn’t come off mean at all, it’s very helpful. Please tell everyone when you see them that I (as well as everyone else, I’m sure) appreciate them coming up here, and thank them for the giving us the experience. It was amazing. Please keep me informed:)
Thank you,

We spent yesterday at St. Tuan's. Did an interview and sang two songs.
It was fun and we really liked the people. We're going home tomorrow. It's been a great trip. Very educational and you've been wonderfrul. Malie says "LOVE HER!". :)
Anyway, thank you for everything you've done for Malie. It is very much appreciated. If I can ever do anything for you, just holler.

Hope to see you again soon,

Vicky (Mom of Winner of Alaska Gets Discovered)

Lisa, Oh, you are so lucky to have found him, and generous to have shared him with us!  I wish he could come 1x mo. (When speaking about Billy Purnell

Lisa/Kat, I wanted to thank you for bringing Billy up here. What an amazing instructor. The kids were just crazy over him. I was only there in the afternoon, but was in awe of what he was able to accomplish with some of those kids.
